We've designed ZapEvent to be extremely easy to use. Simply logging into our web-based administration tool, define your event, its activities and set the pricing. That's it. You're ready to go. Of course there are many more options you can use to enhance your registration. Because of the easy setup and advanced options available no event is too small or too large.

Our flexible pricing structure makes it affordable for both large and small organizations to use ZapEvent. No matter what you charge your customers, ZapEvent simply deducts a minimal fee when we reconcile your account. We deduct $1.00 per registration. If your customer paid by Credit Card or PayPal we deduct an additional 30 cents plus 4.9% of the order total Plus, there are no set-up fees or other add-on costs. Whether you take 1 registration or a thousand, the same pricing applies. With our flexible pricing model, you control the processing fee that your customer pays. You determine how much of the fee is passed on to your customer. You can pass on the exact fee, no fee or you can increase the fee. This flexibility allows you to tailor each event appropriately. How do you get paid? Zapevent reconciles your account on the 1st and 16th of each month or the next business day if a holiday or weekend. We simply send you a check for your registrations and include an account summary with each check.

ZapEvent is intuitive for both the event organizer as well as their customers. Your customizable event page gives registrants the tools they want and they information they need. The rich user interface includes optional image gallery, map and weather information, branding with your logo, communication and social networking tools, and more. Flexibility is at the heart of the ZapEvent system. By expanding your registration to include questions, you can capture additional data as well as dollars. Whatever your strategy, you have the ability to tailor your event to your needs. Group related questions; assign a sort order, Make questions required or optional, select display method with dropdowns, radio buttons, check boxes etc. and associate a cost to an answer that automatically adds to the order total. The combinations are virtually limitless.

The basic event setup is simple and easy to do. You simply fill in the event record to define the parameters of your event. Besides the basic event information such as date, location, contact information and, description, you can expand your event to detail the registration close date, assign a customized liability waiver, brand with your organizations logo, create an easy-to-remember link or url to your event page on ZapEvent.com, opt to collect additional personal personal information, and decide the frequency of notifications when registrations post to your account. Once your basic event is set up, you will further define the event with an activity and activity pricing. An event can have an unlimited number of activities associated with it. And each activity has its own pricing record. With our tiered pricing system, you can define the price of your event at a flat rate, or you can control the price by date or age. Incentivize signup with early bird pricing or create youth and adult prices for your event. ZapEvent allows multiple payment types. Not only will your registration be able to accept major credit cards, but you will also be able to accept Paypal and 'payment by check'.

Another powerful way to control pricing is using promotion codes. With ZapEvent you can create as many promotion codes as you'd like for any event. You can define as Dollars or Percent off. You can also define what a promotion applies to such as the registration fee or question fees. And of course you can limit the number of times a promotion code can be used and the date they expire. Promotion codes are a great way to expand your event. Reach more people and track where your marketing efforts are coming from.

A secure registration process is undoubtedly a concern for anyone handling online transactions.
